altGrade 10, 11 & 12 social sciences students at TCS are invited to join the American History class as they visit Gettysburg and Washington, D.C. over the November break weekend.

Students with an interest in American history and wishing to see sights including the Smithsonian and White House, as well as taking in a hockey game between the Washington Capitals and New Jersey Devils, will enjoy this fun and enriching weekend opportunity (click here to view the itinerary).

The cost of the trip is a very reasonable $950 (this includes all travel and venue tickets but does not include lunches/dinners and souvenirs). The deadline to apply is Monday, September 26th. Click here to download the registration and parent permission forms, which can be returned to Mrs. Lydia Svenningson (lsvenningson@tcs.on.ca or the office of the head of Senior School).

Parents or students with questions are welcome to ask the two faculty chaperones: Ms. Renée Hillier (rhillier@tcs.on.ca or Room 301) or Mr. Luke O’Connell (loconnell@tcs.on.ca or the HPE office).
