altVisitors to Trinity College School’s Memorial Chapel will see signs of the coming Thanksgiving season in abundance, thanks to the efforts of the TCS Parents’ Guild.

As has become a welcome annual tradition, guild volunteers gathered in the chapel early the morning of Wednesday, September 21st to begin decorating the interior and exterior of the chapel with pumpkins, hay bales and more. These beautiful displays will be up through the next couple of weeks to help students and staff keep the spirit of Thanksgiving as they head into the holiday break beginning October 6th.

Guild volunteers were also hard at work over at the advancement office in Russel House, preparing for Bear Fair. This fun family event takes place this coming Saturday, September 24th, and will include activities such as children’s games, baked goods and book sales, an incredible silent auction and raffle table, barbecue lunch and so much more. Special highlights on Saturday also include TCS sports teams competing in home games, the annual alumni soccer match and the official opening of the new visual arts wing. With the amazing work being done by our guild volunteers, it promises to be a fantastic day!
