Since 1909 the Port Hope Benevolent Society has been helping local families by providing food vouchers. On Saturday, October 22nd, a group of 11 bellringers from the Senior School at Trinity College School, and vocal soloist Nico Johnson from the Junior School, took part in the third annual concert organized to raise funds for this local charity.

The ringers, members of the Grade 9/10 co-curricular arts bellringing group and the Johnson Ringers, performed the very popular morning chapel song, Shine, Jesus, Shine, and Nico sang another perennial favourite, Blake’s Jerusalem. Both groups were well received by the large audience at the Port Hope United Church, and $1,000 was raised for the society.
