Taste of Trinity: A night to remember!

Oh, what an evening! The event of the year was uncorked and worth toasting to. Thanks to the vision and leadership of Leisa Clifford P’14 ’16 and Maria Di Pietro P’12 ’14 plus an assembly of dedicated, outstanding and committed committee members, A Taste of Trinity was a night to remember and fundraising surpassed our target. The event brought in $100,000, with net proceeds to support the School’s “highest priority needs” projects for our students.
The common goal was to bring together our entire TCS community with an evening of food and wine pairings, with sommelier Bruce Maclean P’15 ’18 selecting vintage wines from all over the world and Lauren Maclean P’15 ’18 facilitating the choices. Susan Stirling P’14 did a fantastic job pairing the delicious food to these magnificent wines while our own TCS chef, Pat McClean, prepared the food with the assistance of Laura Regan from our food services department. Melanie Moulton P’5’ 08 ’14 ’16 did an incredible job executing the decor to perfection. Vivian VandenHazel P’14 was key in helping along the way with her communications skills. The evening was enhanced by our own TCS student musicians, and dazzling auctioneer Stuart Grainger.
A note of thanks to our very generous sponsors, successful bidders, wine pourers and set-up crew. And a special thanks to Jan Lovekin in our property department for implementing the vision of the committee through her endless hours of effort.
