MasterKey team hosts special chapel service
|Wednesday, 09 November 2011|
The student leaders in Trinity College School’s MasterKey programme had the chance to share their message during a special chapel service on Friday, November 4th, in the Dick and Jane LeVan Theatre.
MasterKey students work with the School’s admissions office, assisting with Trinity in Action days and acting as tour guides and hosts for prospective students and their families. They are the “face of TCS” for visiting families.
Friday’s chapel service included videos and an explanation of what MasterKey is all about. The students shared some interesting facts about admissions at TCS: for example, for the 2011-2012 school year we have 250 boarding students representing 32 countries around the world. Heads of the 10 houses tried their luck at a TCS trivia game, answering questions such as “which current teacher has been here the longest?” (Mr. Tim Hay, 39 years) and “how many pears are on the Orchard House banner?” (three).
The presentation also included a recent video created by the admissions office in which students share their thoughts on the food at TCS (click here to view).
The special chapel service was a wonderful warm-up to the first Trinity in Action day of the year, which takes place on Saturday, November 19th. Families will be touring campus and enjoying the Oxford Cup race, while prospective students will be able to write the entrance test.
