Dinner honours Chairman’s Society donors

An exceptional group of Trinity College School parents, alumni and past parents were honoured at the Chairman’s Dinner, held in the Common Room the evening of Saturday, November 19th.

The dinner, hosted by TCS Governing Body Chair Adam Howard ’76 and his wife, Janet, was a chance to recognize constituents who are among our leading philanthropists, having donated to the School at the Chairman’s Society gift level.

After champagne, a chance to socialize and a delicious meal prepared by the School’s own chef, Patrick McClean, Mr. Howard thanked everyone for their generosity and reminisced about his own family connections to the School. Two of Adam and Janet’s children, Devin ’08 and Mary ’11, attended TCS. Adam’s father, Ernie Howard ’46, was also in attendance for this occasion.

Headmaster Stuart Grainger gave a heartfelt “thank you” to each individual personally for supporting the School.

Next year’s Chairman’s Dinner will be held in the fall of 2012 and will honour constituents who have donated to the Chairman’s Society during the 2011-2012 fiscal year (July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012).
