TCS swimmers bound for OFSAA

 A strong contingent of Trinity College School swimmers will be heading to the OFSAA provincial championships after posting amazing results at the CISAA league finals on February 14th at the Etobicoke Olympium.

When all the scores were tallied, the TCS team placed third out of 18 schools at the meet, with the girls team in second place and the boys in fifth overall. Our Senior girls won their division and the Junior girls placed second.

Six swimmers earned medals with times which qualified them for OFSAA:

  • Keith Andrews: Gold in the Open 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle
  • Emily Stratford: Gold in the Senior 50m butterfly, silver in 100m individual medley
  • Gabby Stratford: Silver in the Senior 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle
  • Eila Collings: Gold in the Open 50m freestyle, bronze in 100m backstroke
  • Luisa Roberts: Bronze in the Junior 50m backstroke
  • Linea Strong: Silver in the Junior 50m butterfly

Three teams earned medals with OFSAA-qualifying times:

  • Junior Girls Medley Relay: Gold (Linea Strong, Emma Butler, Claire Butler, Luisa Roberts)
  • Senior Girls Medley Relay: Bronze (Emily Stratford, Gabby Stratford, Francesca Di Pietro, Marie Duguay, Sophie Roberts)
  • Open 4 x 100m Girls Relay: Bronze (Emily Stratford, Gabby Stratford, Eila Collings, Linea Strong)
