Trinity College School’s competitive Improv team participated in the second round of playoff games in Toronto during the week of February 13th. In the final night of play on Thursday, February 16th, our team won the silver medal and secured a spot in the national qualifiers that will be held during the week of March 19th at Soulpepper Theatre.

The team’s hard work and dedication throughout the rehearsal process resulted in finely tuned scenes, creative stage pictures and soundscapes and intelligent and witty characters and stories. Meryl Fang, Max Kaufmann, Will Kelly, Hunter McHugh, Basil Southey, Jennifer Tewnion, Ryan Williams and Zac Wills collaborated wonderfully to impress the judges and to entertain the audience. Amy Chopra and Keegan Wills, our players in training, not only supported their teammates throughout the competition, but they also learned a lot about the art of improv.

The team has had a blast working together and we look forward to future events in the spring!
