Nick Chauvin had an impressive fifth place in 100m freestyle, as well as placing 15th place in the 100m individual medley. Nicole Schmidinger had a great day, taking 12th spot in the 50m butterfly and 16th in the 50m freestyle, and Junior swimmer Marie Duguay was 22nd in the 50m backstroke. The School posted some very strong relay results, with the Senior boys team of Borja, Nick, Mike Bushuk, Tory Hill and Arthur Kam leading the way, placing sixth in the 200m medley relay. The Senior boys team of Arthur, Mike and Tory along with Paul Hering also had a 17th place finish in the 200m freestyle and 24th place in the 400m freestyle. The Senior girls 200m medley relay team of Nicole, Marie and Vanessa Groening and Deirdre Roache placed 13th in their race. Overall, the TCS boys team finished in 11th place out of 139 schools and the girls were 37th out of 156 schools. Coaches Cyndi Langford, Erin Tewsley and Andrew Tewsley were happy to oversee this great group of swimmers as they gave it their best shot against some very tough competition from across the province! |

Ten Trinity College School swimmers represented the School in a total of 11 events at the OFSAA provincial championships held March 2nd and 3rd at the Etobicoke Olympium. Overall, TCS placed 26th out of the 270 schools taking part, with the top finish going to Borja Klein Gaminde who took the silver medal in the 100m backstroke, in addition to his fourth place finish in the 100m individual medley.
