TCS hosts first ever Girls Squash Tournament

Trinity College School hosted its first ever Girls Squash Tournament on Wednesday, January 10th, with players enjoying the newly expanded facilities of the Ernest Howard ’46 Squash Centre.

The tournament was a celebration of the game of squash and a way to promote girls squash within the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA). Girls squash has never existed as its own sport, and we are hoping this proves as a launching pad for its growth in the league.

Six teams of five players each played throughout the day, including two teams from Nichols School and one each from Ridley and Appleby, in addition to our own two teams from TCS.

It was a great afternoon and a wonderful event which will hopefully lead to the further development of girls squash at independent schools.
