Student conductors bring chapel music to life!

Each week, Trinity College School’s Chapel Choir sings a motet during Monday morning chapel service. This past Monday, February 4th, the scheduled student conductor was ill and Grade 12 student Iris Li stepped in to conduct the popular setting by John Rutter, All things bright and beautiful. In December, Iris had conducted the Week Without Walls bell ringers for a video of Christmas carols, but she had never seen or heard Monday’s motet before taking it on. A talented and confident musician, Iris produced a wonderful performance – with ease.

In a Monday morning chapel service in late January, Grade 11 student Ben Traugott conducted the choir in the singing of Amazing Grace, including a beautiful solo by Grade 10 student Acassia Arnaud.
