Chapel ringers and singers receive awards

With the end of the school year drawing close, Trinity College School handbell ringers and the Chapel Choir captains received some special recognition, owing to the generous support of chapel music by the TCS Parents’ Guild.

Bell pins, with miniature bells showing the number of years of ringing, were awarded to 22 Junior School and 32 Senior School students.

Senior ringer Ben Traugott, with seven years in TCS handbells (and a few years of ringing before Grade 5!), received a silver pin.

Bell Captains Iris Li, Saki Liu and Mia Song received the Randy Mills Senior Bellringer Award, along with miniature bell pen-holders.

Chapel Choir Captains Mai Hashimoto, Adam McWatt, Pia Reckendrees and John Yuan shared the Cohu Cup, named after longtime chapel organist Edmund “Billy” Cohu, and received engraved paperweights acknowledging their service.

Special thanks to the guild for its continued support of the chapel music awards.
