Littleside boys welcome top teams to hockey tournament

Trinity College School’s Littleside boys hockey team welcomed seven guest teams to campus on Thursday, November 29th and Friday, November 30th for our annual invitational tournament.

The Littleside team faced great competition in all four of its games. Unfortunately, the first day of the tournament did not go well, as the Bears lost to St. Peter’s Secondary School in the morning game, and Upper Canada College in the afternoon. The boys redeemed themselves the next day by winning a competitive game against St. Mary Catholic High School. TCS provided a gutsy effort in the final cross-over game against Ottawa Valley, though eventually losing that game.

UCC defeated Nichols in the final, in what became one of the most memorable finishes to this tournament in recent memory. The tournament hosted some of the best high school hockey in the province. It was a wonderful two days of competition that was enjoyed by all.
