Movember campaign raises more than $2,000

Trinity College School students and staff joined together to raise funds and awareness for men’s health by taking part in the annual “Movember” campaign throughout the month of November.

For several years, the School has participated in Movember and this year we had one of our largest groups ever, with 15 students and 10 staff members on the TCS Movember team.

Students donated a minimum of $10 each for the chance to grow a moustache during the month, and many female students also got involved by committing to “MOVE,” which is a program that requires them to work out once a day for the entire month.

TCS Movember leader Dave Brown says, “TCS participates in Movember to raise awareness about the major health problems men go through such as testicular cancer, prostate cancer, mental illness and physical inactivity.” He was proud to announce that this year’s team raised $2,005 in support of these important initiatives.
