Cayman alumni play a role in future scholarship development

Trinity College School’s Cayman Alumni Branch, led by Chelsea Tennant ’06, gathered in George Town on January 17th to welcome the Headmaster Stuart Grainger back to the island.

The reception, which welcomed 14 alumni and past parents, included a well-received update on the School and a lively discussion about the future of the Cayman Scholarship. Founded 30 years ago, the Cayman Scholarship has funded 11 outstanding Cayman students at TCS. The School confirmed its commitment to the scholarship, and Doug Mann, executive director of philanthropy & alumni, encouraged Cayman branch members to discuss new funding models for the scholarship. The scholarship is presently funded by the School and the goal is for the scholarship to be funded by donations from the TCS community in the Caymans within 10 years.

Thank you to everyone who came out to reminisce and to share their thoughts and ideas with us!
