Trinity College School presents “A Streetcar Named Desire”: November 20th-22nd

Trinity College School is proud to present Tennessee Williams’ classic drama, A Streetcar Named Desire, the evenings of November 20th, 21st and 22nd in the Dick and Jane LeVan Theatre (doors open at 7:00 p.m., play begins at 7:30 p.m.). This presentation is free of charge and open to all.

Produced by special arrangement with Dramatis Play Service, A Streetcar Named Desire tells the story of Blanche DuBois, a Southern aristocrat who, having lost her home, seeks refuge with her sister Stella and brother-in-law Stanley in their New Orleans apartment. When it debuted on Broadway in 1947, Streetcar earned the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the New York Drama Critics’ Circle for Best Play. The subsequent 1951 film adaption was nominated for 12 Oscars, winning four.
