Alumni Celebration a roaring success!
  • Alumni Celebration a roaring success!

An Alumni Celebration was held at Trinity College School, September 23rd-25th, to celebrate classes whose reunions were cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. We lucked out with amazing autumn weather for both the golf tournament and the events on campus. Well over 200 alumni signed up for events, and dozens more were on campus to watch sports, come to dedications and enjoy Bear Fair.

We had record turnouts for our cycling tour, soccer and our first alumni field hockey game in years, with great participation also in tennis and the 5km run. Thanks to all of our alumni athletes!

The Alumni Celebration presented the perfect opportunity to dedicate the Clinton T. Sayers ’80 Service Learning Centre & Award and the Drew Allen football seating, and to award Brenda & Roger Glassco ’65 with the Colin T. Brown ’75 Leadership Medal (click here to read more about these presentations. We were also pleased to honour the memory of Bishop Michael Bedford-Jones ’61 in chapel on Sunday morning. Thanks to everyone who took part in these special events.

Saturday evening included a reception in Cirne Commons featuring Ganaraska Brewing Company products, served by Ian Crawford ’91. This was followed by dinner at the Best Western Inn & Convention Centre, hosted by Brad Willcocks ’81 and Gavin Willcocks ’16.

Thank you to everyone, for a wonderful weekend filled with fond memories and renewed friendships.

We hope to see you all again soon!
