With the fall season heating up, Trinity College School’s Middleside boys soccer team played a double-header on Monday, October 17th. The team split its games, winning handily over Ridley College, 7-0 and losing a close 3-2 decision to St. John’s-Kilmarnock. The team will close out the regular season next week, visiting Albert College on Monday and hosting Pickering College on Wednesday, October 26th on the Boulden Fields.

Littleside boys soccer rebounded from last week’s loss to Crescent to post a 6-5 win over Crestwood Prep on Monday, October 17th. Scoring for TCS were Emi Haddad Miguel (2), Olivier Came, Adeseni Majekodunmi, Jack Blain and Tristan Merepeza. Next up, the team will travel to Appleby College on Monday, October 24th for its final regular season game, with an exhibition game planned for Wednesday, October 26th at TCS against Kenner Collegiate.

Over the weekend of October 14th-15th, the Bigside girls basketball team welcomed seven colleague schools to the annual TCS Invitational Tournament in the Arnold Massey ’55 Athletic Centre. The Bears had an up and down event, finishing sixth overall, but showing great spirit, specifically in a 29-26 win over Holy Trinity School on Saturday morning. Congratulations to tournament champions, St. Mary CHS (Brockville), who defeated local Cobourg Collegiate Institute in the final.
