Trinity College School’s Senior School swimmers competed in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association Championships on February 15th at the Markham PanAm Centre. It was a great day in the pool, with eight swimmers earning the right to move on to the provincial championships in individual and team events.
Landing on the CISAA podium were:
First Place:
- Junior girls 200m medley relay – Avery Girimonte, Charlotte Patterson, Dana Hawitt, Christy Boswell
- Senior girls 50m freestyle – Mika Romao Vandepol
- Senior girls 200m freestye relay – Charlotte Patterson, Christy Boswell, Dana Hawitt, Mika Romao Vandepol
Second Place:
- Junior girls 50m backstroke – Lauren Riihiluoma
- Senior boys 100m backstroke – Andrew Richards
- Senior girls 100m freestyle – Mika Romao Vandepol
Third Place:
- Senior girls 50m backstroke – Merryn Hamilton
- Junior girls 100m IM – Dana Hawitt
- Junior girls 100m freestyle – Nalajoss Ellsworth
The Junior girls team finished in third place overall, while the Senior girls team placed fourth.

- Andrew Richards – Senior boys 100m backstroke
- Lauren Riihiluoma – Junior girls 50m backstroke and Junior girls 100m freestyle
- Mika Romao Vandepol – Senior girls 50m freestyle and Senior girls 100m freestyle
