Areas of TCS became the backdrop for 1895 Toronto as the television dramatic series Murdoch Mysteries filmed on campus September 11th and 12th. Along with the exterior of Brent and Bethune Houses, the majority of the filming was completed outside the W.A Johnson Block which doubled as a late 19th century university lecture hall.
