TCS will offer the National Lifeguard Pool and Standard First Aid certification on campus in April, instructed by faculty member Matt Murray. The 40-hour course includes classroom and pool sessions and will run on April 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th. The total cost of the course is $175, including all instruction, pool time, course materials and exam fees. This course is only open to current TCS students who will be 16 years old as of April 14, 2019, and who have previously earned the Bronze Cross certification. Course spaces are limited.
