The Drew Allen Tribute Project

Friends & Fans of Drew Allen:

Drew Allen retired from TCS in June 2021 after 36 years at the School. He had an exceptional career and is best known for teaching economics, coaching Bigside football and serving as housemaster of Bickle House with his wife Sue. Their children Haddy '04 and Derek '10 grew up in Bickle House and both graduated from TCS. Drew will be remembered as one of the great TCS “triple impact” faculty members: teacher, housemaster and coach.

The Drew Allen Tribute Project

No matter your association with Drew, he likely made a difference in your life. In recognition of the positive impact Drew had on thousands of young men and women over the years, we have embarked on a special project in his honour. New stone seating will be built into the hill overlooking Michael Hargraft Field where Drew coached football for more than three decades. The stone seating will include a small garden with a bronze plaque celebrating Drew's many contributions to school life. This tribute will be similar to stone seating currently installed adjacent to the Tim Hay Field (see below).

The Drew Allen Tribute Project

Please consider making a donation today to make this project a reality! The goal is $30,000 and, to date, $9,300 has been raised. Gifts at all levels will be gratefully received; we are seeking a few larger gifts of $5,000+ to ensure the project will be completed in a timely manner. Donations can be made at www.tcs.on.ca/donate. At an appropriate time, hopefully in 2022, we will be able to invite all donors back to campus for the official dedication of this tribute to Drew.

If you have any questions regarding this project or how to make your gift, please reach out to the philanthropy & alumni office at alumni@tcs.on.ca or 905-885-1295.

Thank you in advance for helping to celebrate a TCS legend!
