If you could have every student at TCS read one book, what would it be and why?
To Kill a Mockingbird. It’s about coming of age, human dignity and love and hatred. Its theme of tolerance engenders universal appeal beyond time and place.

What was the one thing that you learned as a child that you carry with you to this day?
Something useful I learned as a student: each September provides an opportunity for a fresh start, an opportunity to create new habits and to reposition ourselves in the minds of peers and teachers. As a school administrator and parent I still find myself resolving at the start of the school year to making positive changes and trying to improve.
