Bonnie Davis P’13’18

Bonnie bases between Toronto, Canada and Nassau, Bahamas. Bonnie presently is board secretary for the publicly traded company, Dye & Durham Limited based in Toronto, and administrator for OneMove Capital, also based in Toronto. She continues to manage the Tomlinson Family Office in Nassau, and is presently a candidate in the Executive M.B.A. program at Ivey School of Business.

Bonnie continues oversight of the Tomlinson Family Scholarship Foundation, which provides funding for Bahamian students to attend university in Canada. Responsibilities include financial, planning/fundraising to ensure sustainability of the scholarship, as well as assisting in the vetting of potential scholars and monitoring/follow-up with current scholars.

She values being involved in the local community. Bonnie played an active part in fundraising and planning for the Hospital for Sick Children’s Caribbean Initiative. This initiative targeted improving the health care of children suffering from blood disorders and blood cancers in the Caribbean region including the Bahamas. This also included collaborating with the University of the West Indies.

She also participated in studies with the Hospital for Sick Children in the capacity of patient advocate having received credit for authorship in the studies “Guideline for the Management of Fever and Neutropenia in Children with Cancer and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Recipients” and “Guideline for Antibacterial Prophylaxis Administration in Pediatric Cancer and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.”

Bonnie is the secretary general for Equestrian Bahamas. This position involves supporting athletes and highlighting the Bahamas on the international stage. Working closely with regional bodies including the Federation Equestrian International and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Bonnie is a past director and board secretary of St. Andrew’s School, a private school located in Nassau. She is also a past director for the Junior Baseball League of Nassau and Lignum Vitae, Nassau.

Bonnie presently is a governor at TCS, director and treasurer of TCS Fund (Bahamas) Ltd., current member of the governance committee, and a past TCS Global Ambassador for the Bahamas.

She currently resides between Canada and the Bahamas with her husband Errol, and they are proud parents of TCS alumni Hailey ’13 and Marcus’18.
