Is the Trinity College School campus open for the 2020-2021 school year? Will all students and staff be returning?

The Trinity College School campus re-opened to students and staff in September 2020. Staff returned to campus in advance of the return of students. Student arrivals commenced September 8th and were spread over four days, rather than the usual two days, to accommodate new health & safety measures. Of note, each boarding student returns to campus during a pre-scheduled window of time, with the assistance of only one parent to help with the move-in process, in order to limit the number of people on campus during opening days. Anyone coming on campus needs to successfully complete a health screening form (indicating no symptoms of illness and, for international travellers, confirming the government-mandated 14-day quarantine has been completed) and all campus traffic will be tracked.

While the campus closed to all but essential workers in December due to a province-wide lockdown, and subsequent mandated move to remote learning for all schools in the province, online teaching and learning continued following the December Break. The campus re-opened to in-person instruction on the week of January 25, 2021 upon permission from the Ontario government, due to the School being located within the HKPRD health unit.
