Tova has a B.A. (economics) from Bishop’s University, M.Sc. (economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program at Harvard University.

Tova is the SVP & chief human resources officer for Giant Tiger – a family-owned Canadian discount retailer. She spent 10 years as the VP of human resources for Coca-Cola Canada and Coca-Cola Canada Bottling. Prior to Coca-Cola she was EVP of human resources for Indigo Books and Music.

Tova holds a chartered director certification from the Director’s College/Degroote School of Business. She is a governor of Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec and serves as the chair, governance and ethics committee and a member of the human resources committee and the joint board/senate committee for diversity, equity and inclusion. She is a past director of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

In her spare time, Tova volunteers with Operation Smile as a medical records volunteer, dabbles in real estate, plays tennis and tries her hand at floral design.

She lives in Port Hope and North Hatley, Quebec and is proud mom to James ’24 and Maeve ’27.
