Doug Scott graduated from Trinity College School in 1981 after seven years as a TCS student. Following graduation, Doug attended the University of Toronto (B.A. (Hons) 1986) and Queen’s University (L.L.B. 1989).

Doug is a lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions with the Toronto office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, a leading Canadian law firm with more than 700 lawyers in 10 offices across Canada, the U.K., South Africa and China. In addition to his M&A work, Doug provides strategic advice to public and private companies on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters in numerous industries, including those in the life sciences, wealth management, technology, real estate development and manufacturing sectors. With more than 25 years of experience, Doug is a Lexpert ranked lawyer and was previously designated as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” lawyers.
