Long Weekend Program 2021-2022

This year, the School will remain open on the October and November long weekends for students unable to make other arrangements to be off-campus during these times. While on campus, students will be supervised by TCS residential staff and faculty, and will have the benefits of our housekeeping services, food services and health services. There will be minimal programming (expected to be mostly, if not exclusively, offered on-campus), recognizing the need for students to rest and complete school work.

Thursday, October 7 to Monday, October 11
Thursday, November 11 to Monday, November 15

While we are in hopes of offering off-campus programs for the remaining long weekends (listed below), these offerings will be dependent on provincial travel restrictions and guidelines in relation to COVID-19.

Thursday, February 17 to Monday, February 21
Thursday, April 14 to Monday, April 18
Thursday, May 19 to Monday, May 23

For the Christmas Break and March Break, the School will work diligently with all students to ensure that they have somewhere to go while the School is closed. We will work with local families, volunteer hosts and guardianship companies to ensure that every student is cared for.

Families will have the option to register for long weekend options when completing their child’s leave sheet through the REACH program. For more information, feel free to contact Lisa Redmond (lredmond@tcs.on.ca).
