The Gender & Sexuality Alliance will host an awareness day on May 14th in honour of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia (official date: May 17th).
This will be a non-uniform day in the Senior School with a "rainbow colours" theme, by Grade:
- Grade 9: Green, White, Blue
- Grade 10: Pink, White, Orange
- Grade 11: Pink, Purple, Blue
- Grade 12: Pink, Blue, White
- Staff: Rainbow
There will also be a fundraising bake sale (cash only) during lunchtime and afternoon flex in Cirne Commons. Funds will support the Rainbow Railroad, an organization that "assists in helping 2SLBTQ+ individuals in unsafe environments, countries, or cultures reach safety by immigrating to Canada where they freely express themselves and their identity."
