On race day, September 29th, 15 area schools and more than 400 runners came to our great Trinity College School campus to run the Lucky 13 harrier meet.

The weather was okay; there were one or two quick sun showers. The course was a little muddy on some corners but luckily no one from TCS slipped.

The top runners of the day from Grade 5 were Ben Traugott, who came in ninth, and Charlotte Gibson in 17th place. The top Grade 6 runners were Ian Maclean in second and Erica Johncox with a third place finish. The Grade 7 top finishes were Kailee Morrison in eighth place and Ben Christensen in ninth. In Grade 8, Emily Moulton came ninth and Matty Vaughn came 12th.

Congratulations to all the other runners who contributed to the team effort. Other than our great results, the runners were lucky enough to have Ms. Judith Fox-Alder (Terry Fox’s sister) come and talk to us all about her life with Terry Fox.
