A group of Trinity College School students lent a helping hand to the Northumberland United Way at the grand opening of the new Giant Tiger store the weekend of October 21st-22nd.

Ten students braved the cold to assist with various tasks on Saturday and Sunday. They cooked and served food at the barbecue to raise funds for the United Way and they enjoyed painting the faces of happy young children from the local area. It was a busy but very fun time for everyone involved.

Congratulations to the students who gave of their time and represented TCS so well in our local community. In the coming weeks, students will also be donning hard hats and safety glasses to take part in a Habitat for Humanity build. And we are already in preparations for the third annual Week Without Walls service learning initiative, which will take place December 12th-16th.
