On Thursday, February 2nd, Trinity College School hosted its annual competitive improv team invitational games.

The boarding students were given permission to sign out of study, so not only was there a full and enthusiastic audience of students, teachers and supportive friends and family in the Dick and Jane LeVan Theatre, there were also four talented teams who were able to participate. Port Credit Secondary School, J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate (Ajax), Port Hope High School and TCS played three events each and it turned out to be an entertaining evening for both players and audience. The “icing on the cake” was having the Toronto regional director, Chris Ramelan, and an improv referee from Toronto to host the show, referee and time each event.

The TCS players are well prepared for the upcoming playoff games which will be held the week of February 13th at Loretto College in Toronto. The players have high hopes of moving on to the final games in March thanks to the team’s expertise, intelligence and collaborative spirit.
