Tennis Court Project Progress
Goal: $35,000 | Funds Raised: $100,000 | Updated: May 2, 2025

Support the refurbishment of TCS’s tennis courts and the tradition of tennis at the School!
When visitors enter the eastern side of campus, the first thing they see is the Arnold Massey ’55 Tennis Centre, four courts nestled among the trees. Built in 2010 thanks to the generosity of donors, these courts have served us well, with hundreds of students learning and growing through the sport of tennis.
TCS has a long tennis tradition reaching back to the 1880s. We continue to believe that tennis teaches valuable life lessons; it is a social sport that can be played at any age, encouraging connection and mental clarity. As many of our alumni can attest, we are fostering skills that students will use for the rest of their lives.
However, our courts have now deteriorated, with the surfaces cracking and staining. To address this need, we are raising $100,000 to install a fibreglass membrane to protect the court surfaces, as well as replace the windscreens.
By supporting the Tennis Court Project, you are not only investing in the School, but in the future of our athletes. Please make your gift today.
