Football: Football Ontario recently announced its selections for the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) All Stars for the 2022-2023 season, and four TCS Bigside players were among the names. Congratulations to JP Samano Saurez (defensive lineman), Jonathan Lolomari (defensive back) and Jack McLernon (linebacker) on being named to the CISAA All Stars roster on defense. Hockey: Shout-out to the Bigside boys hockey team for a convincing 4-1 road win over Crestwood Prep on Wednesday, February 1st.

Basketball: Bigside boys basketball continued its winning ways, beating Holy Trinity School 63-41 at HTS on Monday, January 30th. The team then kicked off February with a 60-41 victory over Hillfield Strathallan at home on Wednesday, February 1st.

Alpine Skiing: Our skiers took on Devil’s Glen for the third race in the CISAA slalom season on Wednesday, February 1st, once again coming away with stellar results. The high school trained males team topped the field in first place, while second place standings were earned by the high school trained females, and both the female and male open division teams.

Top individual results include:

  • Addy O’Grady – 1st in open females division
  • Thea Igle – 6th in open females division
  • Lea Jane David Frenette – 1st in high school trained females division
  • Silas Hodges – 1st in open males division
  • Emerson Mendum – 1st in high school trained males division
  • Anton Piepenbrock – 3rd in high school trained males division
