The CISAA playoffs are well underway. In addition to a great showing for the Senior School swim team, Trinity College School’s student-athletes have been giving their all, in true Bears' spirit!

Volleyball: Bigside is moving on in the CISAA playoffs with a win over Villanova on February 21st (click here for photos from the game). After dropping the first set 22-25, the host Bears stormed back to take the next three sets (25-10, 25-20, 25-18). Next up is a semi-final match at Lakefield on February 23rd. Middleside also had a strong outing in its first playoff game, beating Bayview Glen in four sets (25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 26-24). The team heads to Pickering College on February 23rd for its semi-final match. And Littleside followed suit, also winning at Bayview Glen, this time in three straight sets (25-23, 25-23, 25-21). Littleside will play its quarterfinal match at Greenwood College on February 23rd. The Under-14 team was off to a great start as it won its opening playoff game against Greenwood College on February 20th at home (click here for photos from the game). The Bears took the game in three straight sets (25-17, 25-11, 26-24), landing them a spot in the CISAA “final four” tournament on February 27th at Downsview Park.

Basketball: With an undefeated season, the Under-14 basketball team earned the right to host the CISAA Championships here at TCS on February 27th. The Bears will take on Crestwood Prep in their semi-final game at 12:45 p.m., aiming for a spot in the finals at 2:30 p.m.

Hockey: The Bigside girls hosted the CISAA final four tournament at the PCMR on February 21st. In their semi-final game against Branksome Hall, the Bears came up just short of a 2-1 decision, despite playing a very strong third period (click here for photos from the game). But the team was able to regroup and leave it all on the ice in the bronze medal game against Greenwood, posting a 5-1 win to end the season on a high note!

Alpine: Best of luck to our alpine skiers who will be competing at the OFSAA Championships in Collingwood, Ontario, February 26th and 27th. The girls open, girls school-trained and boys school-trained teams all qualified to represent TCS at the provincial meet. Visit the OFSAA Championships website to follow the action!
