The Under-14 girls volleyball team has had a great season so far. We have demonstrated strong skills and teamwork in recent meets, showcasing our dedication to the sport. We have been working very well together and creating an amazing team environment. Everybody has grown so much over the season and we are delighted to bring you the latest updates and achievements of our talented girls for the month of January 2024.

On January 16, 2024, we played two games. One against Crestwood Prep and one against Greenwood College. In the game against Crestwood Prep, we won the first set. Then, the fatigue hit us and we sadly lost the next two sets. We started off the next game with positivity and competitiveness. We won two sets right away! Everyone did amazing and we were so proud.

On January 23, 2024, we played another two games. One against Hawthorn and another against Pickering College. In the game against Hawthorn we played really well and made some great plays but they tested us and we sadly lost the first two sets. We got a little bit of candy from our coaches to pump us up and give us energy for the next game against Pickering College. We came in with lots of energy and we had great communication throughout the whole game. We won our game against Pickering in three sets with great hustle throughout. We played great with almost every single serve going over!

Overall, the U-14 girls volleyball team has had a great season so far and we are excited to get ready for our next games. Some leadership shout-outs go to Kate Thiebaud, Trinity Garrett and Dinny Day for leading our team and making great all-round plays. Serving shout-outs go to Madi Dainard, Esther Northey, Isabella Ionel, Smyth Mullins and Cora Montagaro. Court play shout-outs go to Antonia Patsias, Char Horsbrugh-Porter, Alicia Liu and Amelia Thomas. We're so proud of all of our players and can’t wait to see everyone on the court at our next game. Wish us luck!
