Last week, on January 16th, the Under-12 basketball team travelled to Toronto Montessori to play in our first series of basketball games for this season.

We played four games in total. One against Moncrest, two against Toronto Montessori’s two teams, and one against Kingsway College. Although we lost all four of our games, we kept the scores close in three of them!

For many of the players on the team this was their first ever experience playing in a basketball game. It was a great learning experience for us all!

Players who were selected as Champions of Character included: Alvis Xu, Kendall Trew and Dov Halparin. Congratulations to them and to all the players on the team!

We are excited about our games next Thursday, February 1st at Hillfield Strathallan in Hamilton.
