Coats for Kids bring warmth to local children

The Coats for Kids fundraiser in the Junior School has been an amazing success in 2021. With enough winter apparel to bring the trunk of Mr. Gordon’s car to the point of explosion! We took in all the used coats, mitts and boots, and brought them to the Salvation Army in Port Hope. They were very thankful to be able to gift children with winter wear for the cold months ahead.

Coats for Kids was made to bring warmth to the hearts, minds, and bodies of children in need by providing them with winter coats, and we thank you all for donating your gently-worn winter wear to those who need it the most. It really helps. A special thanks to all the Grade 7 students who helped make announcements and collect coats. We couldn't have done this fundraiser without you.
