Track: The Senior School track team wrapped up its regular season with the third Durham Invitational Meet, Wednesday, May 10th at Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex. The team posted some strong results in advance of next week’s CISAA Championships.

Top-eight finishers include:

  • Abby Richards – 4th in both 1,500m and 800m races
  • Aidan Small – 3rd in 800m race
  • Liam Small – 8th in 800m race
  • Xyon Johnson – 8th in both long jump and triple jump
  • Aeowyn Comissiong – 5th in triple jump and 8th in long jump
  • Michael Hassard and Nalajoss Elsworth – 4th in Novice mixed paarlauf relay
  • Andrew Richards and Abby Richards – 3rd in Open mixed paarlauf relay
  • Aidan Small and TianTian Dong – 2nd in Open mixed paarlauf relay

Paarlauf is a continuous relay involving two runners, where the baton is exchanged anywhere on the track, with each participant running 1,600m over the course of the race for a total distance of 3,200m.

Littleside Boys Rugby: The team kept up its winning ways, with Monday’s win over St. Andrew’s (31-0) keeping the team atop the CISAA standings at 2-0. Click here for photos from that game. Next up is a game against Appleby on May 13th before the regular season wraps up against Crescent on May 17th.

Bigside Girls Soccer: The Bears are on a roll, besting LCS (4-2) on May 5th and then Villanova (7-0) on May 10th. Click here of photos from the LCS fixture. The team stands at 2-1-1 with two games left in the regular season, against Appleby on May 13th and De La Salle on May 17th.

Bigside Softball: A shout-out to the team for notching a 16-6 win over Branksome on Monday. Click here to view photos from the game. This was followed by a 20-12 win over Bishop Strachan on May 10th, leaving TCS with the best record thus far in the CISAA league season, at 3-2.

Bigside Girls Tennis: The Bears have maintained a hold on the CISAA league leaderboard, with a record of 3-0-1. This week is a busy one in tennis, with OFSAA provincial qualifiers on May 11th and an important match against LCS on May 12th.
