Junior School teams compete at Future Prize Contest

Last Friday, February 9th, six Grade 8 students along with Ms. Hessin and Mr. Gordon travelled to Upper Canada College to represent Trinity College School at the Future Prize Contest.

The Future Prize Contest was such a fun yet hard challenge. We learnt about the "4 Cs" learning skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.

We spent our whole day sharing ideas and drafting for our final presentation. At the same time, we shared some of our ideas with the students from other private schools. Everybody did a great job and we all enjoyed it very much.

Trinity College School Team A, with Kate K., Crystal D., Antonia P. and Mr. Gordon, did an amazing presentation, but didn’t qualify for the final round. Congratulations to Trinity College Team B – Julia L., Sam V., Max V. and Ms. Hessin – which was able to take home the People’s Choice Award.

The Future Prize was a great experience, and we hope that many Junior School students will get to experience it next year!
