Congratulations to Trinity College School’s swimmers, who represented the School with pride at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships, held March 5th to 6th at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

The Senior girls 200m freestyle relay team led the way, earning the provincial bronze medal with a time of 2:03.19 in the finals. Contributing to the third-place result were Charlotte P., Izzy S., Dana H. and Sophie T.

Izzy also had a tremendous showing in the Junior girls 50m freestyle racing, speeding to a fourth-place finish in a time of 30.36, in a very tight race. Also placing in the top-10 in the province was Sophie, who swam to a seventh-place result in the Senior girls 50m butterfly.

Kudos go to swimmers who qualified for B-finals in events, placing them in the top-20 in Ontario, including: Izzy, who was 14th in the Junior girls 100m individual medley; Dana, who was 19th in the Senior girls 100m individual medley; and the Senior girls 200m medley relay team (Izzy, Dana, Hannah T. and Maia T.).

All of the swimmers were wonderful ambassadors during the event, supporting one another throughout two great days of competition. Well done, Bears!
